MICRO 2

The MICRO 2 family builds on the proven RH25 platform, a compact 4-in-1 thermal optic that earned a reputation as a workhorse among hunters and tactical-minded shooters. The MICRO 2 ULTRA takes that proven platform to another level with an industry-first 1280×960 sensor. The MICRO 2 H25 preserves the platform's proven versatility while upgrading image performance with a 640×512 detector, a 2560×2560 display, 10× clip-on support, and up to 9 hours of runtime.

Honey, We Shrunk The 1280

A Brief History of the MICRO & 1280 Resolution Thermal Weapon Sights

2022: The RH25 is Introduced

iRayUSA introduced the original RICO MICRO RH25 to the U.S. market, launching a new class of compact, multi-platform thermal optics. Built around a 640×512 thermal sensor, the RH25 could move seamlessly from handheld scanner to helmet-mounted monocular, standalone weapon sight, or clip-on—putting four roles into a single compact optic. The MICRO established a formula that would go on to define one of iRayUSA’s most versatile and recognizable thermal platforms.

2022: The First 1280 Thermal Weapon Sight

With the RS75, iRayUSA brought the first commercially available 1280-resolution thermal weapon sight to the U.S., changing the expectations for thermal imaging overnight. It marked the beginning of the high-resolution thermal era—and cemented iRayUSA’s reputation for putting the industry’s most advanced imaging technology in the hands of American hunters.

2024: The RH25V2 is Introduced

iRayUSA evolves the groundbreaking RICO MICRO with the RH25V2, transforming an already versatile platform with a new generation of performance and usability upgrades. A faster 60 Hz core, improved thermal sensitivity, dramatically larger 1440×1080 AMOLED display, 45 mm eye relief, lighter magnesium-alloy housing, USB-C connectivity, and 64 GB of onboard storage made the MICRO more capable in every role—from helmet-mounted monocular to standalone sight, handheld scanner, and clip-on. The RH25V2 refined the formula that made the original RH25 a success while pushing the MICRO platform firmly into its next generation.

2024: Nocpix Launches in the US

iRayUSA introduces Nocpix as a new thermal optics brand, combining vertically integrated sensor technology with a new generation of optics built around image quality, user experience, and innovation.

2026: The MICRO 2 ULTRA is Announced

Nocpix brings the MICRO platform full circle with the MICRO 2 ULTRA, combining the proven four-in-one versatility of the original RH25 with the high-resolution thermal technology first brought to market by iRayUSA in the form of the RS75. The result is the world’s smallest 1280-resolution four-in-one thermal, packing a 1280×960 sensor into a platform designed to work as a helmet-mounted monocular, handheld scanner, clip-on, or dedicated weapon sight. With a new generation of processing, dramatically improved latency, Dual-Link capability, and purpose-built helmet and clip-on modes, the MICRO 2 ULTRA represents the evolution of an idea that began with the original MICRO—and pushes it further than ever before.
