Introducing the RICO 3 Pro: Industry-First Autofocusing Weapon Sight

Lewisville, Texas: Nocpix is proud to introduce the RICO 3 (Rugged Infrared Compact Optic), the industry's first autofocusing thermal weapon sight. Built upon the proven RICO platform, the RICO 3 PRO is engineered to keep hunters focused on what matters most—finding, identifying, and engaging targets faster than ever before. At its core is a high-performance 640x512 12 μm Nocpix thermal sensor paired with an ultra-high-resolution 2560×2560 circular AMOLED display and advanced Reality+ 2.0 image processing, delivering exceptional clarity, enhanced contrast, and refined target detail in even the most challenging environmental conditions.

The RICO 3 introduces industry-first Autofocus technology, utilizing data from its upgraded 1,600-yard laser rangefinder to instantly deliver a razor-sharp image at the press of a button. The enhanced laser rangefinder also provides blazing-fast reading speeds and superior small-target detection performance, giving hunters rapid, reliable distance data when it matters most.

Ocular Zoom 2.0 redefines the thermal viewing experience by combining optical enlargement of the high-resolution display with smooth digital magnification beyond 2x power, creating an image that feels more like premium glass than traditional thermal optics. A generous 70mm eye relief and intelligent UI magnification maintain natural reticle sizing and full interface visibility throughout the zoom range.

The onboard Advanced Ballistic Calculator works seamlessly with the integrated rangefinder, instantly providing drop corrections in MOA or inches using real-world ballistic data optimized for popular U.S. hunting calibers. By processing variables such as bullet weight, muzzle velocity, and environmental conditions, the system removes guesswork and enables faster, more confident shot placement.

An intuitive and easy-to-use interface combines with a customizable wireless Remote Control, allowing hunters to range, autofocus, and make fine focus or magnification adjustments without breaking shooting position. Additional features include picture-in-picture mode, a QD Picatinny mount, magnesium housing, 1,000 G/s² shock resistance, and 64 GB of internal memory.

Purpose-built for overnight hunting, the RICO 3 is powered by the NBP-8 battery, delivering up to 10 hours of runtime per charge and up to 7 hours of operation in temperatures as low as -4°F. A redesigned quick-access battery door allows for faster battery swaps in complete darkness, keeping hunters in the field longer and focused on the hunt. The RICO 3 also features a magnetic charging port and recoil-activated video recording, making it one of the most advanced and hunter-focused thermal optics ever produced.
