Built With The End-User in Mind

Autofocus on the RICO 3 PRO can be activated either by a short press of the down arrow on the optic or via the included Remote Control. RICO 3's customizable Remote Control keeps critical functions at your fingertips, allowing hunters to perform one-click ranging, trigger instant autofocus, and make fine focus or magnification adjustments without ever reaching for the scope. Less movement means greater stability, uninterrupted target observation, and faster, more confident engagements when every second counts. 

But Autofocus isn't useful unless it works every time.

The RICO 3 focusing system was engineered and tested to perform in demanding hunting environments.

Hunters can also switch to manual focus at any time by pulling up on the focus know for complete control when desired.

How Does It Work?

At the heart of RICO 3 PRO is a precision electric focusing system driven by a high-performance stepper motor and reduction gear assembly.

The system uses Laser Distance Auto Focus (LDAF) as its primary focusing method, automatically calculating distance and adjusting focus accordingly. In situations where laser ranging may be less effective, Contrast Detection Auto Focus (CDAF) provides additional support to maintain image clarity.
